Chapter 389: Universal Wars

While the couple was sleeping, changes occured across the entire multiverse. The denizens of the two universes didn’t even have time to adjust.

Gates suddenly appeared across the edge of Pangera which included this new merged universe.

These gates led directly the nearest universes to Pangera. On one of those universes.

A woman could be seen sitting in top of a celestial moon, like Pangera, this universe was old and therefore was a continent.

This woman was the one Ved had saved from a nightmare not knowing it was a herald of nightmares that was attacking her.

As soon as gates opened in her universes she felt it, she already detected changes in space way before.

The universe knew this would happen before it even happened, before she could adjust she received information.

This change was brought by the merging of two universes. Unlike Pangera, this universe did not fully fall during the great war.

Their heritage was a bit more complete and they had more knowledge than Pangera, she knew this was the start of the universal wars.

This happened across all the universes in the multiverse startling the denizens, some of those universes were too young.

Their denizens not only did not know what was happening, they couldn’t even confirm anything as they were too weak as well.

Back in Pangera, the sovereigns felt the spatial gates as well and knew trouble was coming.

Fenral was the most shaken by this, he was the strongest sovereign in Pangera and even was only at level 8.

If the universal wars started then Pangera might not have a chance but then he thought about the benefits.

Then comforted himself that he made the right decision by letting Ved and Naledi merge the universes.

He called a meeting summoning all of the sovereigns. They all came and he realised how many they had.

" You all know why I called you here, the universal wars are about to start, it’s inevitable.

If we want to survive, our only chance is targeting the weakest universes early on, absorb them and grow stronger.

The other older universes will probably go in that route. I suggest you all summon your armies.

Leave only those who are guarding the outer battlefield against the void invasion, we should prepare."

They all nodded, while they didn’t get along, this was bigger than their petty grudges and it was time to unite.

Each sovereign sent spies through the gates to spy on the nearest universes. White and Cat found themselves on the same team.

While they couldn’t be called friends, they both came from earth and their friends were lovers.

They decided to stick together, fortunately their masters were with them and seeing their students hitting it off, they grew closer.

Cat’s master was a titan, even amongst other titans she was known for her immense strength.

Unfortunately she was not at the peak of creation realm when the change occured and therefore haven’t reached the sovereign realm.

Cat had also reached comprehension realm and learnt the law of brewing, she didn’t even know that was a law.

However it was a powerful law, it was not a graded law, its power depended on the alcohol being brewed.

Meaning, she could even brew alcohol that might rival supreme laws if she had the right ingredients.

White was also special, the law of lightning was an elemental law which were primary laws.

But she learnt the law of heavenly thunder which was far above the primary laws of lightning.

While her comprehension only went as far as the fourth order lightning, it was still a high law, just a grade lower than great laws.

The group went past the gate and appeared in what appeared to be a universe with space and planets.

They had been briefed on the type of universes there were and knew this was a new one.

Having entered a new universe, it was natural for them to be discovered and a powerful elemental being appeared.

He looked like a humanoid black hole that sucked all things around it. His cultivation was at the creation realm.

Cat’s master grew excited upon seeing this person because she knew about they kind from records.

They were known as one of the strongest races to ever live, even surpassing the Ahnunaki and the Nephilim.

Unfortunately they were few in numbers and we hunted to extinction. Their power was absorption.

Whether it’s energy or force, they just sink into their bodies without doing any damage to them.

This ability is what made them a calamity to deal with. Even though this being was only at level 6 of creation realm and she was at 8, she wasn’t sure she could win.

" Who are you and what do you want here?" He asked, his voice came out like an echo.

Cat’s master stood forward, her and White’s master were the strongest ones here and were naturally leaders.

White’s master was not very talkative and also didn’t enjoy battle as much as his student.

He floated back and shielded White and the others under his wing. Know this titan woman, a fight was about to break out.

" You’re not worthy of knowing my name, defeat me and we’ll tell you everything, lose and submit."

She commanded in an excited voice and her body started growing larger and larger, she was taking her true form.

This meant she was taking this fight seriously. " So be it." The black hole figure answered and pointed a finger at her.

He had ended almost every fight with this simple attack, his entire life he had never met anybody who came close to matching his power.

Space warped around the titan but instead of panicking like all others she grinned and punched.

He felt space itself quake and his technique was broken like it was nothing. He paused, that had caught him off guard.

But he didn’t panic, that technique was his weakest attack anyways. He decided to fight her a bit more seriously.
