Hogwarts: Who made her a professor?

Chapter 223 Heart-Piercing Bone-Cutting

Chapter 223 Heart-Piercing Bone-Cutting

Chapter 223 Heart-Piercing Bone-Cutting

There was no way to go to heaven, and no way to go to hell.

The more anxious you are, the less you can think of a solution.

Peter Pettigrew, with nowhere to escape, paced around in circles in desperation.

Before long, everyone gathered around Peter, who was wandering around in circles, and placed him in the center.

Belvina, Basilda, and Hagrid, Felix and other Ministry of Magic employees, and Dumbledore and Fudge who were left behind.

Three small figures were mixed in with the crowd: Harry, Ron, and Hermione stood behind Lupin, who held a blank old parchment in his hand.

Belvina stepped forward and handed the wand back to Sirius, saying, "Do it yourself. Stay calm."

Don't be so selfish.

"Wait, me too, let's do it together," Lupin said, stepping out of the crowd and standing next to Sirius.

The Ministry of Magic employees present looked at each other, and apart from a few who knew the inside story beforehand, the rest were completely confused and had no idea what was going on.

Sirius Black, who had escaped from prison, stood there with his wand in his hand, but neither Fudge nor Dumbledore ordered his arrest. Instead, they allowed him to raise his wand and point it at a mouse.

Also, what about Peter Pettigrew? Wasn't he supposed to have died thirteen years ago, murdered by Sirius Black in the middle of the city? Why is it said that Peter is still alive?

Sirius Black and Lupin simultaneously pointed their wands at the gray rat. Both wands emitted a beam of blue light, and the gray rat's body shone with a dazzling flash. Then, a head grew from the small gray body, followed by human limbs. Peter Pettigrew stood there timidly, twisting his hands, his face ashen.

"Peter Pettigrew!"

Cornelius Fudge gasped. Even though he already knew Peter was alive, the minister was still startled when he saw him.

In the public's perception, Peter Pettigrew died thirteen years ago. He was brutally murdered by Sirius Black, and the Ministry of Magic posthumously awarded him the Order of Merlin.

As Connelly Fudge shouted Peter's name in a fit of rage, the batters and law enforcement team erupted in disbelief, unable to believe their eyes or ears.

"Peter Pettigrew, isn't he dead?"

"How could someone who died thirteen years ago be at Hogwarts?"

Similar murmurs arose one after another. The Ministry of Magic employees had been dealt a minor blow to the backside tonight. Peter Pettigrew hadn't died, wasn't this a slap in the face for the Ministry of Magic?

Only the Aurors led by John Dexter remained relatively calm; no matter how turbulent their inner thoughts were, they showed no outward signs of it.

Dexter and another female Auror stepped forward simultaneously, shielding Cornelius Fudge behind them.

"Little Sirius, Remus—" Peter Pettigrew's voice was high-pitched and thin, his beady little eyes filled with panic.

"Long time no see, Peter," Lupin said, his tone cold and icy. "I thought you were dead."

"Remus, Sirius is going to kill me! Just like thirteen years ago! He's going to kill me!" Peter Pettigrew said urgently, still trying to argue, which was the only thing he could do now.

Sirius let out a loud, eerie howl, like a vicious dog about to launch an attack.

"Remus, you don't believe him, do you? He betrayed Lily and James! And then he tried to kill me!" Peter screamed, tears and snot streaming down his face. "He's trying to kill me again, Sirius! How could you do this?!"

The scene before them was strikingly similar to that of thirteen years ago. Peter Pettigrew was once again playing the victim, trying to shift the blame onto Sirius Black.

However, tonight is different from thirteen years ago. Sirius is no longer alone, and the people standing beside him will not allow Peter to continue slandering him.

A dazzling red light flashed, illuminating Peter Pettigrew's ugly face.

Heart-piercing!

Belvina openly cast the Unforgivable Curse in front of Dumbledore and the Ministry of Magic.

Peter Pettigrew fell to the ground screaming in agony, as if his nerves were on fire. His body writhed and convulsed, and his screams grew more and more piercing with each one.

The screams filled the ears of everyone present. Dumbledore's eyes were complicated, Fudge remained silent, and the rest of the Ministry of Magic were collectively blinded and deafened.

The three little ones, mingling in the crowd, all looked terrified. Ron and Hermione were ashen-faced and trembling like leaves; they had never seen anything like this before.

Harry, pale-faced and clenched his fists, staggered out of the crowd and walked toward Peter Pettigrew, who was rolling around in agony.

After a while, Peter Pettigrew's screams stopped. He collapsed to the ground, panting heavily, his small body twitching occasionally, proving that he was still alive.

Another blinding red light flashed, and Peter Pettigrew's piercing scream rang out once more as he writhed and screamed in agony.

The one who cast the Silent Cruciatus Curse again was not Belvina.

Dressed in black, Snape strode past everyone like a ground bat gliding along the ground, arriving in front of Peter in just a few steps.

As Snape pulled a bottle of clear liquid from his black robe pocket, he bent down, pinched Peter Pettigrew's cheek, and roughly poured the entire bottle of liquid into Peter's mouth.

Two excruciating Crucifixion Curses are enough to break most people's will, plus the potent Veritaserum produced by Snape...

Peter Pettigrew would even honestly tell you where Voldemort hid his underwear.

Belvina looked at Snape with a complicated expression. "No way, buddy, are you serious? You poured the whole bottle of Truth Potion down his throat? That's too brutal!"

As expected of Severus Snape, when it comes to ruthlessness, who can compare to you Death Eaters!

Not only was Belvina momentarily stunned, but even Sirius Black and Lupin were taken aback, both staring at Snape with the look of someone who was a pervert.

"Ahem—" Belvina cleared her throat and stepped forward.

She then asked, "Can you hear me?"

Peter Pettigrew, sprawled on the ground, said weakly, "I can—I can hear."

"Your name," Belvina said in an interrogative tone, as if this were not Hogwarts but the Ministry of Magic's courtroom.

"Peter Pettigrew," Peter whispered, his eyes vacant and his face slumped as he lay sprawled on the ground.

"I want you to tell us what exactly happened thirteen years ago," Belvina said. "How did you escape Sirius Black's clutches?"

Peter took a deep breath, then said in a detached tone, "Thirteen years ago, Sirius Black ambushed me on the street. He was definitely there to kill me, to avenge James and Lily—"

Instantly, the entire audience erupted in uproar.

So that's why Sirius Black was chasing Peter Pettigrew—he wanted revenge for James and Lily!

Wait, something seems off—

Ignoring the crowd, Peter continued, "I didn't want to die, so I made a noise beforehand, saying that Sirius was the one who betrayed James and Lily, and then, when he wasn't looking, I blew up the street and turned into a rat, scurrying into the sewer by the side of the street—"

"So you're saying that you're the one who betrayed James and Lily, and that Sirius Black was framed by you, right?" Belvina asked.

"Yes, I'm the one who betrayed James and Lily."

"You betrayed James Potter and Lily Potter, didn't you?" Belvina continued. "You were the Potters' secret keeper, weren't you?"

"That's right, I was the one who kept the secret. It was I who revealed James and Lily's hiding place. Only the person whose name cannot be mentioned was able to find them in Godric's Hollow and kill them."

The entire hall erupted in uproar once again. What had the Ministry of Magic been doing for the past thirteen years?!

It turns out that Peter Pettigrew was the traitor who betrayed the Potters, and that Peter Pettigrew was the murderer who killed twelve Muggles in the middle of the street!

It turns out that Sirius Black was innocent. However, the innocent Sirius was imprisoned in Azkaban for twelve years by the Ministry of Magic. Twelve years! How many twelve-year periods does one have in a lifetime?

Thirteen years of injustice were finally over. Sirius burst into wild laughter, tears streaming down his skull-like face.

Snape's sallow face betrayed no emotion, but his slightly trembling hands betrayed him mercilessly; Snape was not as calm as he appeared.

Harry walked step by step toward Peter Pettigrew, his voice trembling as he said, "You betrayed my mom and dad to Voldemort."

They trust you so much!

"Harry, Harry," Peter whispered, "You look exactly like your father." "How dare you speak to Harry! How dare you face Harry!" Sirius roared, "How dare you mention James in front of Harry!"

With that, Sirius angrily straddled Peter, raising his fist high like a Muggle.

One punch, two punches, three punches—it continued until Peter Pettigrew's face was covered in blood, his brow bone and nose bone were broken, until Belvina and Lupin stepped forward and carried the enraged Sirius away.

"You are not worthy to speak to Harry, you are not worthy to mention James!"

Sirius was still roaring, his body struggling to break free from Belvina and Lupin's control.

Peter Pettigrew, sprawled on the ground, struggled to reach out and grab Harry's trouser leg.

He said, "Harry, you look exactly like James, your eyes are just like Lily's, Harry—ah!"

Peter Pettigrew's screams echoed throughout the hall three times. Harry took a step back and looked at Snape behind him.

It's the Silent Cruciatus Curse again, and it's Severus Snape again.

When Peter Pettigrew's screams stopped, his will to survive drove him to slowly crawl toward Harry, whom he saw as his last hope.

"James—James will understand me, James wouldn't want me to be killed—" Peter said, "And Lily, she's so kind, so beautiful, she'll forgive me too—"

Harry's thin body trembled, not from fear or cowardice, but from boundless rage.

Harry said coldly, "You are not worthy to mention my parents' names."

With that, Harry raised his leg as if kicking a soccer ball, and then kicked Peter Pettigrew hard in the blood-stained face.

"Well done, Mr. Potter, ten points for Gryffindor," Snape said in his obnoxious tone.
