Chapter 249 Run, My Humble Abode!

August 20th arrived in the blink of an eye, and Belvina kept her appointment as scheduled.

The group of four apparated outside the village of Autri Saint Cachipol, appearing in a location where they could see the magically constructed hut.

Although Harry had mentioned the Burrow before, Belvina was still shocked when she saw the building with her own eyes for the first time.

The Weasleys' slum was several stories high, crooked and with a few sticks of smoke sticking out of the roof, looking like it could collapse at any moment.

Belvina couldn't help but wonder if the Burrow gained an extra floor with each child the Weasleys had.

Can a humble dwelling really be called a house? Isn't this just an illegal structure?

With these questions in mind, the group, led by Harry, arrived at the main entrance of the Burrow, since visiting someone's home naturally requires using the main entrance.

However, the main entrance to the humble dwelling was equally simple.

Beside the gate lay some worn-out high-top leather boots and a rusty crucible, while several plump free-range chickens frolicked in the yard.

"Harry!"

Tall and thin Ron came over like lightning.

Just seconds ago, Ron was tidying up the goblins in the yard with his twin brother.

A few seconds later, Ron was already standing in front of Harry, talking endlessly about Quidditch and the World Cup.

Sirius!

"And Remus!"

The twins Fred and George walked over laughing and joking, and gave Sirius and Lupin a warm hug.

Okay, very good, excellent.

I'm the only one who's superfluous, right?

Belvina thought to herself, feeling neglected. None of the three Weasley brothers paid any attention to her, even though she was the one who arrived first!

"Oh, is our Professor Blake unhappy?" one of the twins joked.

The other twin quickly added, "We should now address him as Deputy Director Blake; Professor Blake is outdated."

"Fred, and George, it seems I should have a good talk with Mrs. Weasley about your 0.WL scores," Belvina said with a smile. "I imagine your scores must be excellent."

Upon hearing this, the fearless twins' expressions changed drastically.

The two brothers immediately adopted a fawning demeanor, saying in unison, "Professor, are you thirsty? Are you hungry?—"

Fred and George, while showering Belvina with flattery, pulled her into the yard, whispering in her ear, "You really have to keep an eye on Percy! He's gone too far, acting like the family's hero!"

"He doesn't even allow us to make the slightest noise; anyone who doesn't know better would think he's saving the country!"

"That's right, it's too much." Ron chimed in, "He gets angry at us even if we breathe a little louder."

While Percy's three younger brothers were complaining, Percy, who was working inside, suddenly flung open the window and roared at Fred, George, and Ron in the yard.

"Fred! George! And Ron! Didn't I tell you three to keep your voices down at home? How did I talk to you..."

Percy's roar stopped abruptly as he slammed the window shut.

The next second, a cacophony of sounds erupted from the Burrow’s crooked house, including Ginny’s screams and Mrs. Weasley’s roars.

Then, Percy pushed open the door and rushed into the yard, standing in front of Belvina.

Percy looked very excited and said warmly, "Miss Black, it's so nice to see you at the Burrow! It would have been even better if you had told me sooner, I could have picked you up!"

Upon hearing this, Ron rolled his eyes in disgust, while Fred and George simultaneously made vomiting motions.

Sirius and Lupin, standing to the side, also looked on with disbelief. They couldn't stand anyone fawning over them, especially since the person being fawned over was Belvina.

"I already arranged to visit Arthur today, didn't he tell you?" Belvina said with a smile. "Also, there's no need to be so formal when we meet in private, just call me Belvina."

"I didn't tell Percy; I was planning to surprise him."

Just then, Mr. Weasley's voice suddenly rang out from the doorway, and he came in with the others from the room.

Mr. Weasley was still the same as always, tall and thin, wearing glasses, with red hair that was balding.

Mrs. Weasley was by her husband's side. Molly was a short, plump woman with a kind face who seemed easy to get along with.

However, the first people Belvina saw were not the Weasleys, but their eldest son, William Weasley.

William, or Bill as everyone calls him, is quite eye-catching in appearance; in Muggle parlance, he's very cool.

He was tall, with long hair tied into a ponytail at the back of his head, and an earring with a small fan-like object hanging from it.

With his unusually styled clothes, Bill wouldn't look out of place even if he went to a rock concert.

Following behind was Charlie, the second son of the Weasleys. Charlie had a broad face like a nice guy, and was short and stocky. On his arm was a burn scar.

Two little girls, Hermione and Ginny, were at the very back of the group.

When Belvina saw the large ginger cat running around in the yard, she guessed that Hermione was also at the Burrow.

"Miss Black, hello, I'm Bill," Bill said. "I think we should have met at school."

When Bill first entered Hogwarts, Belvina was already a sixth-year student, so the two must have met at school.

Belvina extended her hand and said with a smile, "Just call me by my first name, Bill."

As they spoke, the two shook hands.

"Hello, I'm Charlie. I don't think we've met at school." Charlie grinned.

When Charlie received his Hogwarts acceptance letter, Belvina had already graduated from the school, so Charlie naturally wouldn't run into her at school.

"Hello, Charlie," Belvina extended her hand again. "Although we haven't met at school before, we'll soon be able to make up for that, won't we?"

Charlie's hands were rough, his large, strong palms covered with blisters and calluses, clearly showing he had done a lot of work.

"That's right, we'll be able to meet at school soon," Charlie said honestly. His broad face was also weathered; researching fire dragons in Romania was no easy task.

Up to this point, the atmosphere of the Black and Weasley family's meeting was very friendly, but someone just had to bring up a sore spot.

Sirius Black then shouted in a strange voice, "Oh, how wonderful! The whole yard is full of Gryffindors, even Crookshanks are full of Gryffindors."

As he spoke, Sirius looked at Belvina, deliberately teasing the only non-Gryffindor present.

He grinned mischievously and said, "Don't you think so, Belvina?"

That bastard, I, Sirius Black, must do it today!

Hearing this, Lupin shook his head helplessly, and Harry raised his hand to cover his face. The two were already used to the friendly interactions between the Black siblings, but they still felt a little embarrassed.

Lupin and Harry were used to this kind of thing, but the Weasleys were seeing it for the first time. They had no idea how the Black siblings got along.

Just as the Weasleys were looking worried, the unfortunate scene that they feared unfolded.

"Sirius, if I don't pull all your teeth out today, I'll change my surname to yours!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Belvina raised her hand to strike, while Sirius took off running, shouting a few words as he fled.

"You already share my last name!" Sirius shouted back as he ran, "You'll stay with me as long as you don't get married!"

The two siblings, one in front and one behind, one running and the other chasing, were moving at lightning speed, causing chaos in the courtyard of the humble dwelling. Even the ginger cat Crookshank had to temporarily avoid the fray and flee back to its owner's embrace.

"Shouldn't we keep those two away?" Mr. Weasley asked worriedly, watching the brother and sister chasing each other in the yard.

"Don't worry about them, Mr. Weasley," Harry said in a smug tone. "They'll stop playing on their own when they're tired of it."

"Are you sure we don't need to worry? Belvina's already taken out her wand!" Mr. Weasley was still uneasy. "This isn't a joke!"

Mr. Weasley was really worried; the Black siblings had been chasing each other around the yard for several laps and showed no sign of stopping.

One of them chased after him, shouting, "You stay right there! Don't let me catch you!"

Another ran ahead, yelling, "If you're so capable, catch up with me! Don't just talk the talk!"

At this moment, Lupin, looking slightly haggard, stepped forward and spoke to calm the Weasleys down.

Lupin calmly said, "Don't worry, Mr. Weasley. That's just how they are; the more they bicker, the closer they become. Just think of it as them making up for lost time."

"To make up for lost time?"

Mr. Weasley was taken aback at first, but then he remembered that Sirius had been wrongfully imprisoned for twelve years, and he understood and was no longer worried about the two unreliable siblings.

"I am Remus Lupin, Mr. Weasley," Lupin said, "a friend of Sirius and Belvina."

Mr. Weasley extended his hand without hesitation.

"The children always talk about you. They say Professor Lupin is their favorite professor," Mr. Weasley said with a smile.

"It's an honor to teach them Defense Against the Dark Arts." Lupin extended his hand, his tense nerves relaxing as he did so.

While Lupin and Mr. Weasley were shaking hands, the unruly brother and sister were still running around the house.

"Sirius, if I catch you, you're dead!"

"Belvina, why are you running so slowly? Have you gained weight?"
