Hogwarts: Who made her a professor?

Chapter 288 The Impossible

Chapter 288 The Impossible

Chapter 288 The Impossible

The next morning, a large group of students arrived early at the auditorium for breakfast.

Today is Saturday. Normally, people don't get up early on weekends and usually sleep in until very late.

But today is different. The Goblet of Fire and the Warriors Selection are so exciting that the warm and comfortable bed is being neglected.

Almost everyone who enters the Great Hall first looks up at the Goblet of Fire, then asks others if they've seen anyone register, only to receive the disappointing news that no one from Hogwarts has registered yet.

In contrast to the "lack of enthusiasm" of the Hogwarts students, the delegations from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were quite enthusiastic and even came as a group.

The mages of Beauxbatons were still wearing the same silk clothes as yesterday, but this time they had learned their lesson and knew to put on cloaks before getting out of the carriage.

The moment the mages entered the hall, they caused a sensation. Everyone's eyes immediately fell on the silver-haired girl who seemed to have Veela blood. They were all drawn to her, and even their rice seemed to have more energy.

As the Durmstrang delegation marched into the auditorium in a line, the students at the dinner table became restless again, taking out paper and pens, some even preparing love letters overnight.

Unfortunately, Hogwarts was willing, but Durmstrang was indifferent. Viktor Krum and his group were single-minded, throwing their names into the Goblet of Fire one by one in the queue, completely ignoring the madly infatuated fans.

The Beauxbatons and Durmstrang delegations completed their registrations one after another, but the Hogwarts "warriors" were nowhere to be seen.

It wasn't until Fred, George, and Lee Jordan, three conspicuous men, appeared in the auditorium that they seemed extremely excited.

"It's done, little bro." Fred mysteriously pulled Ron, who had just come downstairs.

"I just drank it." George also mysteriously pulled Harry aside, winking mischievously.

"What?" Ron asked, still a little dazed.

Fred and George said in unison, "Of course it's an aging agent, you idiot."

"Everyone drank a drop," Fred continued.

"We just need to grow a few months older," George explained.

Lee, the Weasley, looked confident, certain that the aging potion could bypass the age limit and allow him to enter the Goblet of Fire.

Even Lee Jordan was excited, saying, "If any of us win, the three of us will split the 1,000 Galleons prize, which means each of us will get over 300!"

The three men's excitement was palpable, reaching the heavens, as if simply throwing their names into the Goblet of Fire would guarantee them the championship.

Ron opened his mouth, but no sound came out.

He had originally intended to show off that he and Harry didn't even need the aging potion, but then he remembered Belvina's instructions and had to shut his mouth in frustration.

"I don't think you'll succeed," Hermione kindly reminded her. "Dumbledore will definitely take that into account and won't let you break through this barrier so easily."

After Belvina's persuasion, Hermione, while not supporting Harry's participation in the Triwizard Tournament, would not object either.

After returning to her dorm last night, Hermione thought about it carefully. If someone can overcome the age limit through genuine ability, they are indeed qualified to become a Hogwarts champion.

But Hermione didn't think such a pedantic product could succeed.

However, perhaps because she had poured too much cold water on people these past two days, Hermione's good intentions were ignored; Fred, George, and Lee Jordan all paid her no attention.

The conspicuous trio walked directly to the Goblet of Fire and stood outside the age line drawn by Dumbledore, under the watchful eyes of everyone in the Great Hall.

Distracted Harry also looked over. The Goblet of Fire was placed where the Sorting Hat usually was, with a thin gold line drawn around it on the floor.

Did Belvina put my name in last night? Will I be selected as a warrior? Will I be able to pass all the tests?

Harry thought to himself. He had barely slept a wink last night, tossing and turning in bed all night.

Just as Harry was lost in thought, George's triumphant shouts echoed throughout the Great Hall. He and Fred had already jumped over the age line and were standing safely inside the gold circle.

During the foggy hour, everyone in the auditorium thought the Weasley twins had succeeded, that they had successfully evaded the age limit.

The next second, something unexpected happened. A hissing sound came from near the gold coil, and Fred and George were thrown out of the gold coil as if they had been thrown out by someone.

The two brothers crashed heavily onto the cold floor, and to make matters worse, as they were nearly broken apart, identical white beards grew on their chins.

He looks like he's aged decades in an instant.

The people in the auditorium burst into laughter. Fred and George, seeing each other's expressions, couldn't help but laugh too, laughing so hard they were pounding the floor.

"I warned you." Dumbledore arrived. The headmaster tried to suppress his laughter and maintain a serious demeanor, but the incessant upturn of his lips betrayed him.

Upon seeing Dumbledore appear in the Great Hall, Harry immediately became very guilty and kept hiding behind Ron.

"The beards are very nice, both of you Weasleys," Belvina said with a smile, following Dumbledore into the Great Hall.

Dumbledore glanced at the twins and said, "Good taste, Belvina. I also think their beards are very beautiful."

"Much prettier than Miss Fawcett and Mr. Summers's beards."

Earlier today, Miss Fawcett of Ravenclaw and Mr. Summers of Hufflepuff also used the aging agent.

They met the exact same fate as the Weasley twins, thrown outside the gold circle by some force, and sported large white beards on their chins.

"Alright, hurry to the school hospital. Mrs. Pomfrey will heal you," Belvina said with a smile. "But remember to take a picture before you recover."

Fred and George, laughing so hard they were pounding the floor, helped each other up and walked out of the auditorium accompanied by Lee Jordan. The two brothers continued to laugh, not getting angry at losing face.

After the Weasley twins' farce, Hogwarts' "championship" finally became serious, and more and more people signed up.

Like Cedric Diggory of Hufflepuff, who cast his name into the Goblet of Fire surrounded by friends and fellow villagers.

And then there's Gryffindor's Angelina Jensen, who just celebrated her birthday last week and successfully crossed the gold circle to register.

The Hufflepuff and Gryffindor students were excited, hoping that their students would become heroes. Seamus Finnigan, the explosive genius, was glared at by the Hufflepuffs for calling him a "pretty boy."

Belvina, who was having breakfast at the faculty table, was not happy with the scene before her.

Why are the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor "champions" handsome men and beautiful women, while Slytherin looks like Warrington, who looks like a sloth turned human!

Belvina was frustrated. There were so many Slytherin students who were seventeen years old or older, couldn't they find one who looked decent enough?

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became, and the angrier she became, the more she thought about it. Belvina held a dinner knife and gritted her teeth as she sawed at the dry bread on her plate.

Even the pot of pumpkin juice on the table seemed unpleasant to look at; Belvina wished she could pour a pot of pumpkin juice over the blue-white flames of the Goblet of Fire.

After a frustrating and infuriating breakfast, Belvina and Bassheda left the castle together.

Today is Halloween, and there are swarms of live bats flying around the castle, along with the irritating, ever-present smell of pumpkins.

Belvina, who dislikes pumpkins, slipped out of the castle and headed towards the Black Lake along the route she took the night before. Bassheda accompanied her, fiddling with several flat stones in her hands.

Before long, the two strolled over to the shore of Black Lake.

Durmstrang's three-masted sailing ship was moored in the shallows, and people could be seen walking around inside through the windows.

After a while, several Durmstrang boys came out of the cabin, shirtless, their muscular physiques on full display. Among them was Viktor Krum.

"Merlin!" Bassheda exclaimed in surprise, raising her hands to cover her eyes. "How dare you let me see this?"

That's what she said, and she covered her eyes with her hands, but the gaps between her fingers didn't let her miss a single frame of the scene, allowing her to see the young body clearly.

With several "splashes" in succession, the Durmstrang male bodhisattvas jumped into the Black Lake one after another, eliciting cheers from the girls on the shore.

"If you want to look, just look openly. No one will say anything to you," Belvina said disdainfully. "Or are you thinking of dating a younger woman?"

Upon hearing this, Bassie, enraged, punched Belvina and glared at her with wide eyes.

"Hogwarts is getting worse every day," Belvina lamented, rubbing her shoulders. "Boys are swooning over Delacour of Beauxbatons, and girls are swooning over Krum of Durmstrang. What kind of behavior is this?"

His words came out in a condescending tone, like those of a middle-aged headmaster.

"That's just human nature," said Bassheda. "When you see something beautiful, you want to look at it more. It's only natural."

"Alright, alright, that's only human nature."

"One 'good' expresses agreement, two 'good's can be interpreted as perfunctory, but what does three 'good's' mean?!"

While Belvina and Bassheda were whispering to each other on the shore, Igor Karkarov stepped out of the cabin and onto the plank connecting the sailboat to the shore.

Karkaroff, still wearing his expensive silver-white cloak, walked step by step toward Belvina. This time, however, he wasn't all smiles; instead, he looked impatient.

"Blake, my students told me you've been standing outside for a long time," Karkaroff said impatiently.

"Professor Karkaroff, this is Hogwarts. We can go wherever we want," Bassheda said bluntly. "Besides,"

We didn't get on your ship.

"Professor Karkaroff," Belvina patted Bassheda's hand to stop her from interrupting, "now that you've disembarked, I happen to have something I'd like to ask you."

Karkaroff stroked his beard and said, "Tell me about it."

"Did you leave the cabin after you returned last night?" Belvina asked.

"No," Karkaroff said. "I don't know what you're trying to ask, but your petty squabbles are none of my business."

In the Triwizard Tournament, Karkarov was solely focused on the tournament. If Viktor Krum could win, it would save Karkarov's precarious position as principal.

"It would be best if there really wasn't," Belvina said lightly.

"What do you mean?" Karkaroff demanded sharply. "Is this how Hogwarts treats its guests?"

"Professor Karkaroff, please put aside your rage for now. I saw you in the castle last night and even followed you all the way to the shore." Belvina held up a finger and pointed to the ground.

Upon hearing this, Igor Karkarov's expression changed drastically.

He didn't leave the cabin at all last night, so how could he have met Belvina in the castle!
