Hogwarts: Who made her a professor?

Chapter 295 Nightmare Assault

Chapter 295 Nightmare Assault

Chapter 295 Nightmare Assault

After a long and arduous night, Belvina finally returned to her long-missed bedroom.

Regardless of how many conspiracies and schemes lie behind this "accident," all she wanted to do right now was sleep. She would deal with anything, even if the sky fell, after she woke up.

Exhausted, Belvina quickly took off her shoes, ripped off her clothes, and collapsed onto the bed, too lazy to even change out of her pajamas.

Lying on the bed, she looked like a wriggling, lifeless worm, constantly adjusting her position to make herself more comfortable. Before long, the dimly lit bedroom was filled with the sound of even breathing; Belvina had fallen asleep.

Meanwhile, the celebrations in the Gryffindor Tower were coming to an end, leaving the circular common room in a mess.

Harry, draped in the Gryffindor flag, returned to his dormitory surrounded by his roommates—the flag had been given to him by Lee Jordan and he couldn't take it off.

Tonight, Harry once again felt the fiery passion of Gryffindor.

When Harry returned to the tower, the sudden cacophony nearly made him fall backward; everyone in the common room was screaming and cheering.

Everyone immediately gathered around, eager to know how he did it, what method he used to cheat the age limit, and how he became the fourth warrior.

No one suspected the conspiracy behind this; everyone just wanted to celebrate and make a ruckus.

The wild celebration lasted for more than half an hour, until Harry repeatedly emphasized that he was very tired and needed to rest, at which point the revelry finally came to an end.

"Harry, Professor Black did it! You're now a champion of Hogwarts!" Ron exclaimed excitedly. "How did she do it?"

Now that only Harry and Ron were in the dormitory, Ron finally asked the question that had been weighing on his mind.

"Not Belvina, someone else put my name in the Goblet of Fire," Harry said, collapsing onto the bed without even taking down the Gryffindor banner.

"It wasn't Professor Black!" The less vigilant Ron didn't suspect a thing. "Then who did it? We should thank them properly!"

"What if that person put me in the Triwizard Tournament to kill me?" Harry closed his eyes; his body was exhausted, and his mind was in turmoil.

Ron paused for a moment, then jumped off the bed and went to Harry's bedside.

"What happened?" he said. "Who wants to harm you? Was it Snape?"

"I don't know," Harry said with his eyes closed. "Ron, let's talk about it tomorrow morning. Let me rest for a bit; I'm so tired!"

"We'll talk about it tomorrow morning then." Ron didn't press the matter further. "Harry, are you sure you don't want to take the flag down?"

Harry, lying on the bed, reached out to untie the flag tied to his body, but the knot was so tight that it took him and Ron a lot of effort to finally untie it.

"Alright, you should get some rest!" Ron casually tossed the bright red Gryffindor flag into the corner. "We can talk about it tomorrow morning. There should still be butterbeer in the common room; I'm going to go get another one."

As he spoke, Ron walked toward the dormitory entrance, humming an unreliable tune.

"Ron," Harry opened his eyes, "I—" He opened his mouth, but couldn't get the words out.

"Dude!" Ron said casually, "I admit I'm a little jealous, but I'm more worried about you right now. You should get some rest!"

With that, Ron opened the dormitory door and went out.

After hearing the door close, Harry closed his eyes again and drifted off to sleep.

Harry had a dream. He dreamt that he returned to the temporary common room on one side of the Great Hall. He saw Cedric and heard him complaining that he had stolen the honor of being a Hogwarts champion.

He saw Krum holding a fire crossbow and heard Krum say that he had stolen his fire crossbow.

He saw Furong again and heard her arrogantly say that he was just a little boy and not qualified to participate in the Triwizard Tournament.

In his dream, Harry wanted to say something, but the dream took a different turn. He dreamt he was standing on the Triwizard Tournament podium, holding the trophy in one hand and Cho Chang's hand in the other—

However, dreams are always fleeting.

The podium beneath his feet suddenly shattered, and Cho Chang beside him abruptly pushed him off a precipice. Harry awoke with a start.

The dormitory was dimly lit, and it was still a long time before dawn. Ron and the others were breathing evenly and calmly, and Neville could be heard muttering to himself.

Harry calmed his nerves, which were still reeling from the nightmare, then lay back down on his side and fell asleep almost immediately.

The dream recurred this time. He dreamt that he was sitting in a chair, and because his perspective was low, he also saw a man kneeling in front of him.

"Master, I succeeded!" the kneeling man exclaimed fervently. "The boy has been chosen!"

"Very good, you did it." Harry's voice was sharp and cold, as icy as the wind.

Seemingly because he heard the praise, the man kneeling on the ground became very excited, his body began to tremble, and he knelt down even lower.

"Master, as long as that boy participates in the competition normally, I can bring him out and complete our plan!" the man said excitedly. "It won't be long, not long at all—"

"You did a great job, better than anyone else," Harry said coldly, his tone as icy as ice.

"Master, someone has begun to doubt me." The man kneeling on the ground seemed to be begging for forgiveness. "Belvina Black,"

That woman is secretly investigating me. Should I kill her?

The man slightly raised his head and said as if making a vow, "Killing her silently will absolutely not affect our plans."

The man kneeling on the ground had pale skin, a few freckles, and wrinkles around his eyes.

"Belvina Black, it's her again," Harry said with amusement in the dream. "How pathetic that the once-proud Black has fallen to this level."

"Master, shall we kill her?" the kneeling man asked. "I promise there won't be any complications or affect the progress of the plan."

"Kill her?" Harry said coldly. "No, she has to live, live well."

Harry lowered his eyes, coldly looking at the man kneeling on the ground, and continued, "I will make her live in fear. This is what happens when you go against the great Voldemort."

"Master, I don't understand—"

"You don't need to understand, my child. You just need to bring that boy to me."

The man kneeling on the ground became even more excited, his eyes filled with fervor, as if he had heard the best praise in the world.

In the dream, Harry continued, "I know that old man Dumbledore will do everything in his power to protect Harry Potter, but my resolve will not waver. Harry Potter is the most important part of the plan, and that will never change."

"Yes, Master!" said the man kneeling on the ground. "I will definitely bring Harry Potter back."

"I know you can do it, my son. You are more loyal than anyone else," Harry said. "I assure you, my son, Voldemort will never forget his loyal servant."

In the dream, Harry continued, "Alright, I'm tired. Go, go and finish my plan. I'll be here to witness your loyalty."

Hogwarts, Gryffindor Tower, Harry wakes up from a nightmare once again.

He lay stiffly on the bed, his chest heaving violently, the lightning-shaped scar on his forehead burning with pain.

Harry, clutching his aching scar, slowly sat up in bed and groped for his glasses on the bedside table.

He put on his glasses, and the familiar scenery in the dormitory became clear, which made him feel inexplicably at ease, and even his pounding heart gradually calmed down.

After a while, Harry, whose breathing had calmed down, reached for the alarm clock and looked at it. It was four in the morning, still very early.

Harry tried his best to recall the scene from his dream. Everything was so vivid; there were two people in the dream, one was Voldemort, and the other was someone he didn't recognize.

Just thinking about Voldemort, and the cold, shrill voice in his dream, made Harry feel a burning pain in his forehead and his stomach cramp as if someone was squeezing it hard.

Distracted, Harry tiptoed out of bed, slipped on his slippers, walked to the window, and pulled the curtains open a crack.

It was still dark, the grounds were deserted, and the shadows of the forbidden forest swayed in the distance.

Harry withdrew his hand, leaned against the window, closed his eyes tightly again, and tried to recall the scene in his dream.

There is no doubt that the "boy" mentioned in the dream is himself, because his name appeared in the vivid nightmare.

Oh, and there's also the name Belvina!

Belvina's name also appeared in the dream; someone wanted to kill her!

The man kneeling on the ground was looking for an opportunity to kill Belvina, and Voldemort also harbored a grudge against her!

Harry opened his eyes abruptly, a huge wave of panic washing over him. The scar on his forehead started to hurt again, and his lungs seemed to have stopped working.

A little while later, Harry, who was covered in cold sweat, did not die of asphyxiation. He did not know what the nightmare was about, nor whether the dream was real or not, but he realized that he had to tell Belvina about the dream.

With that thought in mind, Harry disregarded the fact that everyone in the dormitory was still asleep and quickly walked towards the door.

When his right hand touched the dormitory doorknob, he suddenly realized that it was only a little past four in the morning, and Belvina wouldn't wake up from her dream like he did.

Harry tiptoed and quietly sat back down on the edge of the bed, recalling for the third time this incredibly vivid nightmare, a nightmare related to Voldemort.

Who was that man kneeling on the ground? Harry tried hard to recall what the man looked like.

His skin was pale, as if he hadn't seen the sun in a long time, somewhat like Sirius Black from last year.

His face was freckled and he had wrinkles around his eyes. He didn't look young, and Harry was certain he had never seen this person before.

Harry took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes.

Voldemort—an unknown man never before seen—and the Triwizard Tournament, what are they plotting?
