Hogwarts: Who made her a professor?

Chapter 392 Celebration

Chapter 392 Celebration

Chapter 392 Celebration

Under a star-studded night sky, the year-long battle for the top three has come to an end.

A deafening roar erupted from the stands, instantly engulfing the entire stadium, the cheers drowning out everything around them.

Applause, cheers, and screams filled the air as excited crowds surged down from the stands, their chaotic footsteps causing the entire stadium to tremble slightly.

Harry and Cedric emerged from the maze, only to be immediately surrounded by a dense mass of people.

Gryffindor lifted Harry, the champion, onto their shoulders and tossed him high into the starlit night sky time and time again.

Hufflepuff surrounded Cedric, offering words of comfort and telling him that second place was also good.

Ravenclaw clapped enthusiastically, both to congratulate Harry and to comfort Cedric.

After a brief but enthusiastic celebration, the awards ceremony began.

Harry Potter, the champion, ascended the podium, received the Triwizard Cup from the Minister of Magic, and raised the gleaming trophy high.

Harry then took a large bag of gold coins from Belvina, the prize money for the Triwizard Tournament winner, a full thousand Galleons.

"Congratulations, Harry," Cornelius Fudge said to Harry with a smile, his eyes like those of an uncle looking at his favorite nephew.

"Uh—thank you, thank you—" Harry, who was bad at speaking, didn't know how to respond and could only awkwardly say thank you over and over again.

Cornelius Fudge was unfazed by Harry's aloofness and stiffness; the Minister of Magic's eyes remained kind and benevolent as he tried to win over the boy who had miraculously survived.

"Harry, what do you usually do to pass the time during the summer holidays?"

Before Harry could answer, Cornelius Fudge continued, "Would you be interested in visiting the Ministry of Magic during the summer holidays? If you'd like, you could even do a summer internship there."

Upon hearing this, Belvina, who was following behind Fudge, pouted. What an awkward attempt to win her over!

Now that things have come to this, the minister has finally remembered to try and win over the boy who survived the ordeal, but the boy has long been in cahoots with Dumbledore!

Even if Dumbledore was the wrong person to choose between Cornelius Fudge and Albus Dumbledore, Harry would still choose his headmaster. That's what affection and trust are all about.

Without any emotional foundation or trust, Fudge was delusional to think he could win over the boy who had miraculously survived, all because of a summer internship position.

"So, are you interested?" Cornelius Fudge's kind face betrayed a hint of eagerness. "Does the Department of Law Enforcement like it? There are plenty of Aurors there."

Harry opened his mouth, wanting to refuse, but not knowing how to refuse gracefully, so he closed his mouth.

"Minister," Belvina stepped forward and leaned close to Fudge, "for Harry right now, celebrating his hard-won victory with his best friends is what he wants to do most."

Cornelius Fudge turned his head and looked at Belvina with a complicated expression.

The Minister of Magic is currently unable to determine whether the person who once stood by his side will continue to do so in the future.

“I was mistaken, you’re right, Belvina.” Cornelius Fudge smiled. “What Harry wants most right now is to celebrate, what he needs most is to celebrate.”

"Minister, it's time for us to take pictures," Belvina reminded him. "The reporters are ready."

The final part of the awards ceremony was a group photo, which would include the three principals, the four warriors, Belvina, and Fudge. This photo would be on the front page of the Daily Prophet tomorrow.

Having already taken a group photo during the wand testing, this time the photo shoot went very smoothly.

The tall Mrs. Maxim sat in the center, with everyone else standing around her.

Minister of Magic Fudge and Triwizard Tournament champion Harry stood on either side of Madam Maxim, but Fudge seemed to dislike this position, his expression was quite unpleasant.

It's worth noting that Connery Fudge had previously smeared Madame Maxim, suspecting that she was the one who kidnapped Karkaroff. Now, with Connery Fudge standing next to the enormous Madame Maxim, he was terrified that this mixed-race giant would stand up and smash his head in.

However, the Minister of Magic's worries were unnecessary and completely unfounded. Mrs. Maxime did not lay a finger on the Minister until the filming was declared over.

Despite possessing some giant blood, Orim Maxim is an elegant and dignified lady who would not harm anyone without a reason.

After the group photo was taken, Cornelius Fudge did not find another opportunity to speak with Harry alone, so he tactfully took his leave and declined Dumbledore's invitation to join the celebration.

"What did Fudge just say to you?" Sirius asked Harry curiously, watching Fudge's departing figure.

At this moment, Sirius, Lupin, Bill, and Mrs. Weasley were all gathered around Harry. Mrs. Weasley was so excited that she couldn't contain herself and shed many tears.

"He invited me to visit the Ministry of Magic during the summer vacation," Harry said. "He also invited me to be some kind of summer intern."

Upon hearing this, Sirius, Lupin, and Bill immediately understood Fudge's meaning. Mrs. Weasley, however, didn't think much of it and kept smoothing out Harry's wrinkled robes.

"Could it be from Dad's side—" Bill looked at Sirius and Lupin, wondering if Fudge had discovered Mr. Weasley's activities in the ministry, which was why Fudge was so eager to win over Harry.

"Probably not," Sirius said. "Arthur isn't that careless."

“That’s right,” Lupin added. “Everyone in the ministry has their own agenda, and Fudge can’t keep up with them all.”

Although Sirius and Lupin didn't think so, Bill was still a little worried about Mr. Weasley's situation in the department. He even considered whether he should resign from Gringotts and go to the department to help Mr. Weasley.

On the other side, Belvina finished the cleanup work for the third project and was just about to meet up with Sirius and the others when she was stopped on the way.

"Belvina!"

It was Madame de la Cour, with her eldest daughter Fleur beside her.

"Apollino, is there anything I can do for you?" Belvina asked kindly; she enjoyed talking to beautiful women.

Although Fleur lost the three-way battle, neither Mrs. Delacour nor Fleur herself showed any sign of disappointment.

Interestingly, Furong doesn't seem as afraid of Belvina now, perhaps because her mother is there to support her?

"I have a personal question I'd like to ask you," Mrs. Delacour said, a slight blush creeping across her face, seemingly embarrassed. "Are you well acquainted with Mr. Potter's family?"

Porter?

Harry Potter?

Could it be that Madame de la Cour wanted to arrange a marriage for her youngest daughter?

With her vivid imagination, Belvina immediately thought of the adorable Gabrielle. As someone who appreciates good looks, Belvina unilaterally agreed to the marriage!

"Harry's godfather is my brother," Belvina said, pointing to Sirius in the distance.

"I can tell you're all very beautiful," Mrs. Delacour said.

Belvina then pointed to Lupin and continued, "The tall one next to him with gray hair is Harry's father's good friend, and he used to be a professor at the school."

Although Remus Lupin was good-looking and had a unique temperament, clearly a man with a story, Mrs. Delacour was obviously not interested in him.

"And the lady and the young man?" Mrs. Delacour asked. "They seem to know Mr. Potter quite well."

With things said to this point, Belvina could easily tell that she had misunderstood; Mrs. Delacour wasn't after Harry, but rather Bill.

"That's William Weasley, but we all prefer to call him Bill," Belvina said with a smile. "That lady is Bill's mother, Molly."

As she spoke, Belvina observed the expressions of Delacour and her daughter.

Mrs. Delacour seemed quite pleased with Bill, while Fleur blushed slightly and remained silent.

What is this? Is it lust at first sight, or love at first sight?

"There will be a celebration at Hogwarts later, Apolline, are you coming?" Belvina asked. "Molly and Bill will be staying."

Instantly, Madame de la Cour's eyes lit up, brighter than the stars in the night sky.

The Hogwarts celebrations took place in the Great Hall, where students from all three schools gathered, and the families of the warriors were also invited.

The academy's long table was laden with a sumptuous feast, and the house-elves in the kitchen did their best to ensure that everyone could find something to their liking at the table.

About half an hour after the banquet began, Sirius and Lupin had become quite familiar with Mr. Delacour, chatting with him about everything under the sun. The two brothers seemed very interested in Mr. Delacour's dating skills.

After all, Monsieur de la Cour was not handsome, but Madame de la Cour was a rare beauty.

At this moment, Belvina mysteriously approached Mrs. Weasley.

"What's wrong with you?" Mrs. Weasley looked at Belvina curiously. "Your face is flushed; are you drunk?"

"I didn't drink," Belvina said. "Molly, well—maybe—perhaps someone has taken a liking to your son."

"Which son?" Mrs. Weasley countered. "Bill, Charlie, or Percy?"

That's infuriating. Other pure-blood wizarding families struggle to produce offspring, but the Weasleys have three grown sons.

"I'm talking about Bill," Belvina said. "Someone's got their eye on Bill."

Charlie, the second son of the Weasleys, had far less interest in women than dragons; as for Percy, who could possibly be interested in him except Penelope Crivart?

"You've taken a liking to Bill?" Mrs. Weasley said, beaming. "Arthur and I wish you both the best!"

One sentence almost choked Belvina to death. Putting aside the fact that men affect casting speed, Bill was several years younger than Belvina.

Men, men all like young people.

"It wasn't me, what are you thinking?" Belvina quickly explained.

"That's a real shame," Mrs. Weasley said with deep regret, though she didn't mind that Belvina was older.

"I'm talking about the champions of Beauxbatons." Belvina pointed in the direction of Fleur, "That's Fleur Delacour, and the one next to her is her mother."

Following the direction of Belvina's finger, Mrs. Weasley's gaze locked precisely on the stunningly beautiful Fleur.

"A very pretty girl," Mrs. Weasley said. "Is she French? Isn't she a bit spoiled?"

It sounds like Mrs. Weasley's attitude is the complete opposite of Mrs. Delacour's. Mrs. Delacour is quite pleased with Bill, while Mrs. Weasley isn't very interested in Fleur.

"How about we talk about you instead!" Mrs. Weasley continued. "If Bill isn't up to it, how about Charlie? Or Percy?"

Mrs. Weasley's enthusiasm frightened Belvina so much that she fled in panic, and she didn't dare to face Mrs. Weasley again until the celebration ended.

The Hogwarts celebrations lasted until midnight, and the students reluctantly left the Great Hall.

The final celebrations are over, and everything about the Triwizard Tournament is over. Starting tomorrow, the students will begin preparing for their final exams.

At this very moment, the students, preoccupied with their final exams, are unaware that a massive storm, capable of destroying everything, is brewing outside Hogwarts.
