Chapter 93: The Ruohe Empire
Chapter 93: The Ruohe Empire
Tan Yue was so angry that her injuries worsened, and she vomited blood again.
As soon as he recovered, Gu Yan beat him to the brink of death again. This cycle repeated more than ten times before Gu Yan finally stopped.
"Whoosh—whoosh—"
Tan Yue, who had completed another high-speed regeneration, was panting and glaring angrily at Gu Yan.
Gu Yan smiled and said, "Let's call it a day. Hmm? Don't you look a few years younger?" His blue eyes were fixed on Tan Yue, whose long hair was loose.
If you look closely, Tan Yue's face really looks younger. She used to look like she was in her thirties, but now she looks no more than thirty.
Gu Yan looked surprised. So, being near death multiple times can restore one's youthful appearance?
Tan Yue glared at him with murderous intent until a mirror suddenly appeared in front of him. He was surprised when he saw himself in the mirror.
He really looks younger.
"See? Master treats you so well. He's beaten you so much you've become younger," Gu Yan said with a friendly smile.
Hearing this, Tan Yue clenched his fists in anger. If he weren't outmatched, and if he weren't wearing a golden headband, he would have smashed that bastard's hateful face to pieces.
"Do you want to go out?" Gu Yan suddenly asked.
Tan Yue's expression remained unchanged. He just felt that Gu Yan had some new trick up her sleeve for asking this question, so he didn't answer.
Gu Yan crossed her arms and said, "Fine, if you don't want to go out, then stay here." With that, Gu Yan disappeared.
Tan Yue's divine sense covered the entire interior space of the Panlong Pagoda, but there was no trace of Gu Yan. As soon as Gu Yan left, the interior of the Panlong Pagoda shrank back to its previous state.
"Hey, let me out—"
Tan Yue roared and slammed his fist into the wall. His punch shook the tower violently, but unfortunately, he couldn't break through the wall. This Panlong Pagoda was a celestial treasure-level magic weapon; it wasn't so easily destroyed. Gu Yan, having cultivated to the Void Refinement stage, could only partially control this magic weapon.
As for Tan Yue, he is a Spirit Master, and his cultivation methods are different from those of Immortal Cultivators. Neither he nor any other powerful figure in the Yunlan Realm can use any of Gu Yan's magical treasures, not even the simplest magical artifacts.

Inside the sleeping quarters, a wooden tower radiating a green glow floated in mid-air. Suddenly, a beam of light shot out from the tower, which transformed into a perfect young man dressed in black upon landing.
After Gu Yan came out of the Panlong Pagoda, she threw it into her Purple Mansion. As for Tan Yue? Well, let him stay in the pagoda.
Just as Gu Yan was about to sit down, he sensed movement in his storage ring. With a wave of his hand, a golden toad appeared on the table. The toad croaked, "A letter has arrived! A letter has arrived!" and spat out a letter.
The letter lay on the table; it wasn't from Gu Yan's parents, but from Mu Qinghe. When Gu Yan left the Mu residence last time, she left Mu Qinghe a golden toad, telling him that if anything important came up, he could use it to send a letter.
Gu Yan unfolded Mu Qinghe's letter, which read: "Brother Taibai, I have obtained a Dragon Soul Grass. You may come and collect it if you have time."
After reading the letter, Gu Yan put away the golden toad, put on the mask, and then summoned Gao Changqing and Huo Yun.

The Imperial Study.
"Your Majesty, are you leaving Yue?" Gao Changqing was very surprised. He looked at Eunuch Su standing next to him.
Eunuch Su gave a wry smile. What was he looking at? He knew absolutely nothing about His Majesty's affairs. Moreover, it was clear that His Majesty didn't consider him, the chief eunuch, a trusted confidant. In His Majesty's mind, he was just an ordinary eunuch.
"Your Majesty, where are you going?" Huo Yun asked.
"I have some personal matters to attend to. After I leave, I will leave the affairs of Yue to you and Prime Minister Gao. As for when I will return, I cannot say for sure," Gu Yan said.
"Your Majesty, may I not accompany you and serve you?" Huo Yun asked, bowing with hope in his eyes.
"No need. I'm actually more relaxed on my own. You can tell others that I'm in seclusion for cultivation. Alright, if there's nothing else, you may leave!"
Gu Yan's tone left no room for argument. Gao Changqing wanted to say something, but ultimately remained silent. His Majesty wasn't discussing things with them; it was issuing a notification, a command.
Huo Yun and Gao Changqing exchanged a glance, and finally could only respectfully take their leave. Eunuch Su stood to the side; Gu Yan glanced at him, and he wisely withdrew as well.
Finally, only Gu Yan remained in the imperial study. Gu Yan picked up a brush and wrote a letter to her parents, then stuffed it into the mouth of the golden toad. Afterward, she went to the Yue Kingdom's treasury, retrieved what she needed, and left the Yue Kingdom.

In a hidden underground palace somewhere in the Ruohe Empire, a teleportation array lit up. The surrounding guards became alert as a white figure slowly emerged from the array.
After the light dimmed, a young man in white robes wearing a silver mask stood in the center of the magic circle, holding a jade pendant in his hand. After showing the pendant to the guards, they all showed respectful expressions and quickly bowed.
Without saying a word, the man in white transformed into a golden rainbow, passing through the corridors and exiting the hidden underground palace.
The man in white was none other than Gu Yan.
Gu Yan used the Dugu family's teleportation array to travel from the Yue Kingdom in Qizhou to the Ruohe Empire. After traveling thousands of miles away from the Dugu family's teleportation point, Gu Yan landed in a valley. In this deserted valley, he took out the Panlong Pagoda and released Tan Yue from inside.
After the purple light flew out of the Panlong Tower, it transformed into Tan Yue upon landing.
Tan Yue, dressed in a long black robe, came out and stared at Gu Yan in shock, then gave her a look that said, "What are you trying to do now?" Gu Yan had left him alone in the tower before, and he had tried countless times to get out but couldn't. In the end, he had no choice but to give up, so he started fiddling with the golden headband on his head, trying to get it off.
The result was that after countless attempts, the golden headband disappeared from his head and was no longer visible. However, it had grown directly onto his primordial spirit. How tragic is that?
"What kind of look is that? I'm letting you out, so you should thank your master." Gu Yan said with a smile.
Tan Yue snorted coldly: "Stop talking nonsense. When did I ever bow down to you...?"
"Kneel down!"
Before Tan Yue could finish speaking, Gu Yan gave a command, and golden runes appeared all over his body. Then, his knee slammed into the ground. The force of the impact was so great that the ground shook.
"Isn't this a formal apprenticeship?" Gu Yan smiled smugly.
Tan Yue gritted his teeth, his deep purple eyes flashing with an uncontrollable rage, veins bulging on his forehead, like a wild beast enraged. But this murderous gaze had no effect on the boy who controlled him. The boy even removed his mask and revealed a smile as beautiful as a hundred flowers blooming.
What Tan Yue found shameful was that he had actually stared at that smile for a moment, completely mesmerized.
Then he became angry and embarrassed.
hateful!!
He vowed that one day he would smash that bewitching face in front of him into a pulp.
"Alright, get up! We're going to Changyang City." Gu Yan said, slowly putting on his mask, and then transformed into a golden rainbow that shot into the sky and disappeared.
Tan Yue had no choice but to follow him, unable to disobey orders.
