Chapter 600 Kanaz Academy

Chapter 600 Kanaz Academy

Daigo had considered everything very thoroughly.

With his connections and Devon Corporation's financial resources, booking a presidential suite at the best hotel in Kanaz City for Li Luochen would be a simple matter of making a phone call, and he could stay for as long as he wanted.

But he didn't do that.

No matter how nice a hotel is, it's ultimately temporary.

Every time he comes, he has to book a room again, check in, and move his luggage. It's tedious and troublesome. Not to mention that Li Luochen always travels with his family. No matter how spacious the hotel is, it can't compare to the comfort of a detached villa.

Instead of doing that, why not just give them a set?

Anyway, Devon Company still has a lot of vacant, high-quality villas in the villa area they developed in Kanaz. They can pick the best one and give it to their brother, which will save them trouble in the future and also show their hospitality.

Li Luochen didn't refuse. He twirled the key between his fingers and then neatly stuffed it into his pocket.

A good brother's heartfelt gesture, if passed back and forth, will only make things seem distant.

Besides, he really needs a fixed place to stay in Hoenn. He will inevitably have to handle various things here in the future, and he can't keep bothering Daigo to make arrangements on the fly every time.

"Then I won't be polite." Li Luochen patted his pocket and grinned at Daigo.

"Okay, don't be so polite. Go ahead and choose, I have some things to take care of."

Daigo waved his hand and stood up from his chair.

As the Hoenn champion, his schedule is always packed (of course, it has nothing to do with league affairs). Being able to personally greet Li Luochen at the door and participate in the entire meeting was already a squeeze of time.

"Just find the house number on the key by matching it with the floor plan of the villa area. If you like a house, just move in. I've already told the front desk."

Daigo put away his communicator, walked over to Li Luochen, patted him on the shoulder, and said with a hint of apology:

"Don't worry about the meteorite for now, get some rest. I'll have someone send you a detailed map of Petalburg Woods and the League Trainers' deployment plan later, you can look at it when you have time."

"OK."

Li Luochen, being carefree by nature, waved to Daigo and walked out of the conference room.

Leaving the Devon Corporation headquarters building.

Li Luochen stretched on the steps, took out the key with the house number engraved on it from his pocket, and twirled it between his fingers.

The villa area wasn't far away, so he planned to go check out the houses first.

Then go to the street and bring back Rukia and Lillie, who were still browsing in the dessert shop.

......

In the villa area, rows of detached villas are scattered along the gentle slope in a well-organized manner.

Red tiles and white walls, each building has its own small courtyard.

Li Luochen unfolded the floor plan, casually swiped his finger across it a few times, and quickly picked out a set.

Located deep within the villa area, backed by a small grove of trees, the yard is significantly larger than other houses, offering excellent natural light and exceptional quietness, eliminating worries about being disturbed by neighbors.

He opened the door with his key. The house was nicely decorated, fully furnished with all kinds of furniture and appliances, and even the refrigerator was packed with food in advance.

The master bedroom on the second floor has a spacious balcony from which you can see the streetscape of Kanaz and the sea in the distance.

He nodded in satisfaction, took out his phone, took a picture of the balcony, and sent it to Daigo, adding a concise comment: Not bad.

After doing all that, it was time to go find Lucia and Lillie.

Li Luochen walked out of the villa area and headed towards the city center along the streets of Kanaz City, while taking out his phone and dialing Lillie's number.

The phone rang twice before I answered. Lillie's soft voice came from the other end, and in the background, I could vaguely hear children's laughter and some kind of electronic sound that sounded like a school bell.

"Hey, Lillie, where are you?"

"We're at Kanaz Academy," Lillie replied, as concise as ever.

Li Luochen paused for a moment.

Kanaz Academy?

That was the most famous trainer school in Kanaz City. He had thought the two girls would be enjoying a delicious meal at a dessert shop or picking out dresses at a clothing store. How did they end up at the school?

Before he could even ask, Rukia's excited shouts came from the other end of the phone; he could feel her elation even through the receiver.

"I understand, I'll be there in a bit."

Li Luochen hung up the phone and searched for the location of Kanaz Academy on his phone map.

Coincidentally, it's located near the city center, only a ten-minute walk from where he is now.

Li Luochen put his phone back in his pocket.

After crossing two streets lined with palm trees, a rather large school comes into view in the distance.

The off-white teaching building is covered with lush green ivy, the training ground on the playground is paved with standard battle flooring, and the gold-plated nameplate at the school gate shines brightly in the sunlight.

As expected of the most famous trainer school in the Hoenn region, its gate alone is more impressive than many schools he has seen.

Arrived at the school gate.

"Young man, do you have an appointment?"

Li Luochen was about to step inside when he was stopped by the gatekeeper.

The elderly man with gray hair, wearing reading glasses and a neatly pressed security guard uniform, sat in the gatehouse at the school entrance, looking Li Luochen up and down through the half-open window.

"Uh, no. I'm here to find someone," Li Luochen answered truthfully.

"No unauthorized persons are allowed to enter."

The old man pushed up his reading glasses and pointed to the visitor registration notice posted on the window of the gatehouse, where the words "Unauthorized personnel are not allowed to enter" were printed in large, eye-catching print.

He glanced at Li Luochen and added, "If you're looking for a student, have that student come and help you register, or you can call her and have her come out to pick you up."

Li Luochen wasn't annoyed. Just as he was about to call Lillie again, a figure suddenly jogged over from the campus and stopped by the window of the gatehouse.

She was a brown-haired girl who looked no more than sixteen years old, with two round little buns tied on top of her head and a huge red bow pinned to the back of her head. Two thin ponytails hung down from below the bow, swaying gently with her movements.

She wore a well-fitting dress, red stockings, and black leather shoes, exuding the vibrant aura of a top student.

"You are Li Luochen, the head of the Minrong Martial Arts Academy in the Donghuang region, right?"

The girl tilted her head slightly to look at Li Luochen and asked.

"It's me." Li Luochen nodded, somewhat surprised. "You know me?"

"Of course I know you!" The girl's eyes lit up, and she clapped her hands lightly in front of her, causing her red ribbon to tremble slightly. "I've watched your dojo promotion match video online several times, especially the one against Master Liang Shanyun, it was amazing!"

She suddenly remembered something halfway through her sentence and quickly straightened her expression: "I am Du Juan from Kanaz Academy, and also the gym leader of Kanaz Gym."
