Chapter 14: Did He Become Superman?
On the vast, azure sea, a dog-headed warship is sailing.
Occasionally, a salty, damp sea breeze blows by, making one feel incredibly comfortable.
On the deck, Karp, wearing his dog-head hat, was fast asleep on a deckchair, snoring loudly.
Two small figures are sitting on the observation deck above.
"Kyle, didn't you say you'd give me something delicious to eat?"
"Where is it?"
Luffy's eyes lit up as he scanned Kael, trying to figure out where the delicious food might be hidden.
"Don't rush!"
Kyle smiled, reached behind his back, and pretended to take out the Gum-Gum Fruit.
"Clang clang clang!"
"This is the good food I'm going to give you!"
"Huh?!"
Luffy was stunned for a moment, then couldn't help but drool.
He immediately took the Gum-Gum Fruit from Kyle's hand and took a big bite.
I've never seen this fruit before; it's strangely shaped.
According to the rule that the weirder the shape, the better the taste, this fruit looks delicious.
So Luffy took a big bite without saying a word.
Kyle's mouth opened slightly, as if he wanted to say something but hesitated.

Two seconds later, he suddenly came back to life, jumped up, and grabbed Kyle's clothes tightly with both hands.
While shaking violently, he roared angrily:
"Kyle!!! Is this the delicious food you promised me?"
"Are you sure this awful stuff has absolutely nothing to do with being delicious?"
"Tell me! Did you try to poison me?!"
Luffy's face was full of anger. He had never eaten anything so disgusting before. He felt as if his mouth had been contaminated.
Kyle shrugged.
"I don't think I ever said it was delicious, did I? I said I'd give you good food, not just something tasty. You misunderstood!"

Luffy paused, a look of bewilderment on his face.
It seems... that's indeed the case?
But Luffy was only confused for a moment before he started baring his teeth and claws again.
"I don't care, you're making me eat such awful food, I..."
"Bang!!"

Before Luffy could finish speaking, a dull thud was followed by a scream.
Kyle blew on his raised fist, his gaze lingering on Luffy, who was crouching on the ground with his hands covering his head and tears welling up in his eyes, and said:

Before Kyle could continue speaking, Luffy impatiently interrupted, his eyes filled with excitement.
He thought Kyle looked so cool when he first saw him unleash purple lightning.
I originally thought that I could become like Kyle after I trained.
