Hogwarts: Who made her a professor?

Chapter 139 Enraged

Ginny, her eyes glowing with an eerie red light, held up her notebook, her face full of pride and self-satisfaction.

Tom Riddle, through Ginny's words, arrogantly declares: "This is a diary, my diary, sealing away my sixteen-year-old self."

"Who keeps a diary?" Belvina thought to herself.

"For months, Ginny has been writing her innermost thoughts on it, telling me about her heartbreaking troubles and distress."

Her brothers, her old robes, her old textbooks, and one—

His gaze passed over Belvina and landed on Harry in the distance. Harry suddenly felt a burning pain in the scar on his forehead.

"And then there's the famous, kind, and great Harry Potter, who expresses his admiration and love for him, and the pain that he will never love him back."

Under Tom Riddle's control, Ginny adopted a different tone, speaking in a high-pitched voice about her girlish thoughts.

However, the girl's face showed no admiration whatsoever, only mockery and contempt.

"Ginny absolutely adores me! She's so understanding, so gentle and kind!" Ginny's small body trembled slightly.

Then came a cold, piercing laugh: "She opened her heart to me, offered me her soul; her fears, her secrets, made me stronger."

Having said that, Belvina had roughly figured out the cause and effect. To rescue Ginny, Tom Riddle's Japan was the key.

The naive young girl was bewitched by Voldemort, a master charlatan, and became completely defenseless, allowing him to take advantage of her.

Tom Riddle, controlling Ginny's body, continued triumphantly, "I grow stronger every day, strong enough to reveal a few secrets to Ginny, and I open a small part of my soul to her."

In the distance, the scarred brute, who was being held down and unable to run around, looked puzzled. Tom Riddle's cryptic way of speaking had confused his little head.

"What are you saying! What did you do to Ginny?" Harry yelled.

Tom Riddle's contempt grew stronger, making Ginny's facial expression distorted and strange.

Voldemort in his student days seemed unable to understand how he could lose to such a guy; his reaction was just too slow!

"Fool, he somehow took over Miss Weasley's mind and controlled her behavior," Bassheda explained, tightening her grip to prevent Harry from breaking free again.

Bassheda continued, "He controlled Miss Weasley to open the Chamber of Secrets and release the Basilisk. He also controlled Miss Weasley to break the neck of the rooster in the school."

Instantly, Harry's emerald-like eyes widened and became round.

Standing at the foot of the statue, Ginny spoke, her voice still that strange, androgynous tone, "I'm sorry, but who are you?"

"Bassheda Bablin is currently employed at Hogwarts and teaches Ancient Runes," Bassheda said neither humbly nor arrogantly. She was terrified of Voldemort from the bottom of her heart, even if it was just Voldemort "possessed" in Ginny Weasley's body.

However, when Bassheda saw Belvina standing confidently and firmly in front of her, her fear lessened.

"Ancient Rune." Tom Riddle manipulated Ginny to repeat the sentence in a low voice. For the first time, the contempt on the little girl's face disappeared, though only for a moment, but it was indeed gone.

A moment later, Ginny, who had been controlled, regained her previous pride, complacency, and smugness, and contempt crept back into her eyes.

The extremely strange voice rang out again, saying, "That's right, I made Ginny do everything. Little Ginny didn't know anything at first, but later she gradually became suspicious, suspecting that she was the murderer of the attack—"

"Please forgive me," Belvina suddenly interjected, "I just couldn't hold back after listening to you ramble on for so long. Tom, I never imagined you'd stoop so low. Making such a fuss over a first-grader? Has time dried up your brain?"

Belvina is someone who doesn't hold grudges and usually settles scores on the spot.

Tom Riddle said that Black had fallen so low, and Belvina returned that statement verbatim.

Ginny, who was being controlled, was not angry. Her face remained the same, but it was sickly pale, as if she had lost too much blood.

Belvina continued, "Fifty years ago, you unleashed the Basilisk to attack several students, killing Myrtle. Fifty years later, you manipulated Miss Weasley to reopen the Chamber of Secrets, and so far, only poor Colin Creevey has been petrified—"

Belvina paused for a moment, then continued, "I'm not trying to be mean, but at your age, how come you're getting younger and younger?"

The main character is someone who gets better with age. Fifty years ago, Hogwarts killed one of its members, almost causing the school to close. Fifty years later, not only did it not kill any of its members, it even petrified a cat. What is there to be proud of?

Once she starts talking, she can't stop; Belvina's little mouth is like a Gatling gun emitting blue flames, it just won't stop.

She continued, "And do you think your method of framing Hagrid was clever? The eight-eyed spider doesn't have the ability to petrify humans, let alone Hagrid. It was only because the war in Europe was so intense that your framing was effective. You only succeeded because of Grindelwald."

It was 1943, and Gellert Grindelwald was a formidable force, dominating Europe. The Ministry of Magic was likely focused on Europe and had no time to deal with Hogwarts.

What's the big deal about a Muggle-born student dying?

Hogwarts can't find the Chamber of Secrets anytime soon, can't hand over the murderer, and can't provide an explanation.

Just then, Hagrid, who was raising the eight-eyed spider, appeared, and the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts conspired to frame him.

If the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts truly believed Hagrid was the murderer of the students, they wouldn't just expel him.

It's even less likely that he'll return to school to work as a hunting ground guard.

Of course, these are all Belvina's personal speculations, made up to disgust Tom Riddle. Whether Tom Riddle believes them or not is irrelevant; what matters is that they disgust people.

Belvina scoffed and said dismissively, "Without Gellert Grindelwald stirring things up in Europe, you would have had your wand broken and been stuffed into Azkaban fifty years ago, not even worth a Muggle."

As soon as she finished speaking, Tom Riddle inside Ginny almost broke free, and the little girl's small body swayed.

The breakdown wasn't due to Belvina's disgusting reasoning; Tom Riddle also felt that the framing back then was far too easy, and the flawed plan had been executed exceptionally smoothly.

Tom Riddle's emotional breakdown stemmed from the phrase "not even as good as a Muggle." His filthy Muggle father was a constant source of frustration for Tom Riddle, a cruel twist of fate.

As the saying goes, "Don't talk about shortness in front of a short person," but Belvina deliberately brought up the very thing that Tom Riddle was most ashamed of.

Instead of backing down, Belvina became even more brazen, saying, "I'm embarrassed to say anything to you, a man in his sixties or seventies, how could you say such a thing as bullying a girl under twelve!"

"Shut up!" Tom Riddle shouted through Ginny's voice. He was furious, and the overflowing magic made Ginny's red hair fly like burning flames.

"You dared to do it, and you're afraid of what people will say!" Belvina said, subtly gesturing as she spoke. "It's one thing to bully a young girl, but to almost get abandoned by her in the girls' restroom—aren't you ashamed?!"

Both Basilda and Paul saw the hidden gesture, and their focus sharpened; they knew Belvina was about to turn hostile.

Ginny, standing at the foot of the statue, turned angrily and opened her arms to the colossus of Salazar Slytherin, making a low hissing sound—a Parsleyan sound.

Only Harry could understand Parsley—"Speak to me, Slytherin—the greatest of the four great masters of Hogwarts."

In an instant, Slytherin's enormous stone face came to life. Its mouth opened, growing larger and larger until it formed a huge black hole, with the sound of sliding constantly emanating from inside the statue.

Belvina closed her eyes, pricked up her ears, and slowly backed away.

The Hogwarts adventurers then heard a huge object crash onto the stone floor, and the entire Chamber of Secrets trembled.

Soon, Tom Riddle, controlling Ginny, spoke again, his low hissing voice meaning: Kill them!
